LEG NOTES:

Major Exchange 12 offers public restrooms, drinking water, large grassy shaded areas, scenic waterfall area (down the trail), and Race Services.  The Wild Wig Contest leg finishes at Exchange 12.  Cheer them on!

LEG DESCRIPTION:

Stay on Centennial Trail the whole time with the Spokane River on your left.  Runners might consider carrying water if needed as there will be no vehicle support.  Flat leg along scenic Centennial Trail.  Enjoy the run!

LEG LEGEND:

0.0         Depart Exchange 12 on Centennial Trail.

3.0      Centennial Trail Detour for Bridge Construction (take a RIGHT)

3.1    LEFT on Montgomery Ave.

3.8    RIGHT on Riverway Ave.

4.2    End of Detour.  Rejoin Centennial Trail.

6.4     Arrive at Exchange 13 at Harvard Rd. Parking Area along the Cent. Trail.

DRIVER DIRECTIONS:

Head back up Mirabeau Parkway (0.7 miles) and take a LEFT on Pines Rd. (0.8 miles).  Merge left (eastbound) onto I-90 towards Coeur d’ Alene and travel 3.8 miles.  Exit 1-90 at Barker Rd. exit 293 and immediately take a left back over I-90 heading north (0.4 miles). Then take a RIGHT on Mission Ave. (2 miles).  Take a LEFT on Harvard Ave.  There will be a Shell gas station off to your right just before Harvard.  Travel 0.5 miles on Harvard and Exchange 13 is on your left hand side in the Parking Area along the Centennial Trail.
